ACTIVELY SEEKING

Next, the Fifth Step is ACTIVELY SEEKING.  Building upon the Realization of the responsibility of selfness, then one moves with that energy in many different directions – thus, the seeking, Actively Seeking, through alternative methods.  Everyone in this room has been involved with all types of groups: of discussion groups, of movements – all dealing with alternative lifestyles, alternative thinking, positive thinking, healing the world, the planet, joining together in communion with one another to create a better world.

How often do you think of the words or the phrase “joining together to create”?  Most of the time the words are spoken and not realized for their value.  Coming together as one group creates a different energy in the world, that is what you are doing right at this moment.  You are acting in communion with one another.  Being responsible for yourself, you choose to join with another to bring about a higher quality of life.  This is the result of many years of searching, and – even now as we speak – the search continues, the continual search for Truth within your own life. 

Gradually, you are beginning to understand the connection of all things in your life.  You started with mind, understanding your emotions – then beginning to understand the body, why it behaves the way it does or does not – beginning to understand the interaction between people and nations, that everything is connected.  One is hinged on the other – the atoms that hold you together, your environment, and your world.  If one atom is removed, then the whole is not the same any longer.  It is a new creation.  If another atom is added, it is a new creation. 

 In this Actively Seeking you also change the pattern of your thoughts.  We have said, at various times, that all thoughts continue to exist.  If you created a thought, it exists.  It does not die of malnutrition.  You have given it life, and Creation sustains it.  All thoughts – positive and negative – exist.  That is part of the explanation as to why groups of people seem suddenly to have the same idea (synchronicity).  It has been called Universal Mind – Universal Consciousness – and it works.  It is individual power sent forward into Creation. 

 When these atoms of thought join, they constantly double their power.  Think of the effect – the negative effect, to begin with.  When the world creates thoughts of prejudice, bigotry, hatred and so forth, those thoughts are pulled together – creating an atmosphere that disrupts the entire world.  Case in point: many people could not understand what occurred in World War II.  How could this be possible?  How could one individual create such havoc in the world?

 Well, you must understand – the soul that was in the body of this Austrian person, had the opportunity, had the choice, to use all of that energy, all of those thoughts, in many different ways.  What that soul chose – for its own reasons – was to be the focal point of centuries of ignorance, bigotry, prejudice, hatred – that wealth, that abundance, created by humanity, of negative energy.

 One individual, knowing how to channel that energy, used himself as the focal point, the channel.  (In that sense, that channel and the present channel are no different.  They are both channels of energy.  What makes them different is the type of energy they choose.)  That soul chose to channel negative energy – and it was like a vacuum, drawing to it from all over the world!  It was a choice of all souls who had contributed – through their own negative thoughts – to create the chaos, the holocaust that took place.  Again, it was the idea to cleanse itself violently – humanity chose to cleanse itself violently – as a result of a belief in a lie!

 The Young Rabbi had been a channel for positive energy, yet the world was not ready to accept that.  Why?  It makes no sense unless you understand what was happening.  The earth and all planets are very dense.  They are thought made form, made whole.  When the soul journeys to this earth it partakes of that density; it takes form.  It takes a body, bringing atoms together in a very close proximity, becoming denser.  Negativity is a dense energy.  Therefore, it is very easy for humanity to think in negative terms.  It is drawn to it, like a magnet.

 It is only when humanity begins to understand that it must be balanced that it actively seeks the truth.  It then realizes that there is an equal power in positive energy – it lifts the soul.  It gives it buoyancy.  It lifts the body.  (Wouldn’t that be fun, if we could all levitate right now?)  It lifts the body!  (Well, if we all thought positively enough, that is possible.  It is understanding the balance.)

 Now, each of you have a choice in your active search to become that vehicle – that channel – that will alter your world, this globe, all of Creation.  It does not depend on one individual any longer.  We have said the time of the guru – the one teacher, the one priest, the one leader – has passed.  Each of you has claimed your right – your godhead – through your searching.  And, you must understand consciously the responsibility of that – which, conveniently, leads us to the next or Sixth Step, which is APPROACH.
